This furniture features hand stitching and edging methods that the studio has finessed over the years and used for seating and desk space installed in the reception area at the Shard to give a warm and well-crafted welcome today to visitors there. Wood shaped by Computer Numerical Control (CNC) is covered in leather with edges then either hand stitched or trapped and turned, with the process drawing on modern methods of design and traditional saddlery skills.
