It is 604 pages long, and covers every major music retail category, including: Guitars, Basses, Keyboards, Drums, Recording, Pro Audio, DJ, Lighting, Microphones and any other product segment involved in the creating and performing of music.
ProGear is an overview of Sweetwater's product offerings, and has a circulation of 1.5 million copies. The books are distributed via mailing list, and as a customer pack-in. It is used heavily as a prospective new customer acquisition vehicle, with great success.
ProGear is meant to appeal to hobbyist and professional alike. This pragmatic approach assumes that guitarists and interested in recording, and vice-versa.
Listings are a combination of straight product and speciality collaborations with our major vendors. We do a lot of custom work.
Photos, copy and layouts are created in-house, with the exception of vendor-supplied advertisements.
