Throughout the 2010 year, I served as the president for the Lombard Jaycees, a chapter of the United States Jaycees leadership training organization. I served a chapter of over 60 members, as we ran two massive projects (the 40th annual Lombard Jaycees Haunted House and The Taste of Lombard and 4th of July Fireworks). My responsibilities included managing a board of directors, running meetings and projects, serving as a liaison to region/state/national organizations, and recruiting new members to the chapter.

As a catering manager, I worked with a fantastic team of culinary geniuses to plan and implement delicious and magnificent affairs to remember (and sometimes just plain boring coffee drops with a splash of style).
I managed a regular staff of students and catering servers in addition to an on-call team of contract servers for larger events. My proudest moments were during big weekends, such as Commencement and Homecoming, when I would work hand-in-hand with the catering director to run 20-30 different events simultaneously.
