MINTEL shows that the majority of people who participate in snow sports enjoy them due to the social aspects and the way that the sport allows them to interact with their friends and family. Having said this, most snow sports only allow for one rider per board/ski/sled.
Snowave, therefore, will take the social aspect of snow sports one step further by allowing two people to ride together.
Research also shows that snow sports products have to be lightweight and portable to make it as easy as possible for the user to carry the product back to the top of the hill or mountain. Snowave will take this into consideration by being made from lightweight materials such as carbon fibre or plastic composites. It will also be designed at a portable size. Finally Snowave will give the rider a considerable amount of control over the product so that the sport can be taken seriously and the product can be navigated down a difficult mountain.
