In my designs I delight in in finding elegant solutions for complex problems and creating straightforward products that people enjoy to use. I consider sustainability to be, just like sketching, a normal part of any design process. My favorite designs combine simple shapes with ease of use and a sense of fun.

  I have made a number of sketches, storyboards, diagrams and illustrations for various subsidy proposals and reports by faculty staff and external parties (amongst which the factory in a day project http://www.factory-in-a-day.eu/project-idea/35-2/) . Further more I have occasionally joined "de jongens van de tekeningen" for drawing work, a visual note taking session or as a co-instructor of a course on visual thinking.

  During my time as an intern I wrote and illustrated a book called: "A basic introduction to lightweight design". The goal of this book was to make readers aware of the potential that lightweight design has for their products and to make them familiar with a (lightweight) design process.
