Hello, My name is Cheuk Lui, but others also call me Dennis. I’m a B.S industrial design graduate student at San Jose State University. I’ve always been an enthusiast all things gaming, automotive, and latest consumer technologies. My goal in the future is to design products to create experience changing solutions that users would love to use and make people’s life easier and fun every day.

Undergoing a collaborative project by teaming up with engineers, occupational therapist and interactive engineer to develop and design future public accessible autonomous shuttles.

Design InternSan Mateo, CAMay 2019 - Feb 2020 (9 months)Mainly working with Adriel Rollins. Responsible to create design experiences and aesthetic for the transportation, and medical industries. Through this experience, I undertook new scale of design theory and interaction, but also understand real world workflow in the industrial design industries.

Team MemberSan Mateo, CAJun 2018 - May 2019 (11 months)Responsible to provide fabrics for costumers, trim desire fabrics in to specific sizes, maintain fabrics in stock, cashier duty, and store closing operations.
Through this experience, my main goal is to widening my soft goods material knowledge, providing me an option to use different types of fabrics and tools for future design projects. -
Lifeguard / Swim InstructorSan Mateo, CAJun 2016 - Jul 2017 (1 year 1 month)Responsible to keep patrons safe, teaching swimming lesson for kids 4-15, keeping Poll chemical balanced, and weekly lifeguard training.
Through this experiences I'm able to learn the fundamental of working in general, but also the important of teamwork in a team base environment such as an aquatics centers.
