Medical Seminar 2024 (Sept)

For the medical event "Identifying Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (aHUS) in the Pregnancy and Postpartum Setting," the design concept highlights the critical interaction between biological processes and the human body. The central illustration of a kidney is meticulously detailed to represent the organ’s vulnerability during aHUS, while the background of cellular structures provides a micro-level perspective, symbolising the underlying pathology of the disease. The use of contrasting textures, with the kidney rendered in realistic form and the cellular background in a more abstract manner, creates a dynamic visual balance. This concept effectively bridges the macro and micro perspectives of the condition, enhancing both scientific understanding and visual appeal for the medical audience.
