Caterina Belluardo, contemporary shoe designer. Sicilian born now based in London, Caterina works with traditional and classic forms combining this with unconventional materials.
Her influences range from contemporary furniture movements, lifestyle and art history.
She is driven, motivated, works well under pressure. These skills have won her a place in the Camper workshop in the Summer as well as a chance to present her collection at the Who's Next Pret a Porter Trade Fair in Paris.
Caterina has practical skills learnt from previously studying at Cordwainers. These have given her the confidence to produce outstanding final pieces for her final collection for her MA at the Royal College of Art, where she perfected her talents.
She brings retail, UK market knowledge, design and making experience in fashion from both England and Italy.
With over five years of experience in the footwear niche working at independent projects, Caterina is now seeking a new challenging role as a designer within the high end luxury footwear industry.
