Lead Industrial Designer

Design and develop off road vehicle accessories including protective bumpers, audio roofs, storage systems and more. With an annual value of nearly 2 billion dollars, accessories are a critical value add to Polaris vehicles and key contributor to the Polaris brand perception. As senior designer for Polaris PG&A (Parts, Garments & Accessories), I created lines of after market vehicle accessories designed to survive the rigors of off road riding and empower all riders to enjoy the outdoors.
My design support extended to several brands within the Polaris family including 4Wheel Parts, Smittybilt, Kolpin, 509, and Pro Armor.
In my role as Lead Industrial Designer, I led designers both within and outside the organization to achieve our product development goals. In this capacity my vision was to create accessories that harmonized user experiences across all vehicles and products.

I joined Belkin's design team to help develop our second-generation mobile phone screen film applicator. Belkin makes the Apple Store's only in-store service for screen protection application. The success of millions of screen films sold at Apple Stores worldwide encouraged us to develop a system for other retailers around the world that want to increase their sales by implementing a in-store service for their customers. Our new system, SCREENFORCE enables the user to create a white glove service experience for the retail customer while provide the most accurately applied screen protection. This service elevates the consumer's perception of the telco store and makes the store associate feel like a professional screen protector applicator. SCREENFORCE is in hundreds of telco stores around the world and is the winner of the 2018 German Design award

Tesla vehicles are at the forefront of design and engineering. As they become more popular and there is an increased desire to stand out amongst this high-tech crowd. Unplugged Performance (UP) creates high performance versions of Tesla’s model range. I have penned and/or overseen all of UP’s exterior body work since it’s inception. I remotely guide the 3D modeler to create surfaces that remain true to the design intent.

Zodiac (now Safran)
Huntington Beach, CA
Nov 2012 - May 2015 (2 years 6 months)
Zodiac (now Safran) designs and manufactures integrated aircraft cabins, bins and lavatories and galleys for airplane OEMs and international airlines. As part of Zodiac's design group ZEO, I helped create innovative solutions for highly efficient, tightly packaged spaces of aircraft interiors. Worked in concert with other designers to style and build concept interiors to forecast trends in the industry. The larger group was a cross-functional team of designers and engineers working closely together streamlining the exchange of design data. Designers had to be proficient in CATIA V5 as its the industry standard.
