I've recently moved back to Vancouver after living in Sydney, Australia for the past 13 years. I am currently seeking employment in an innovative environmentally sensitive industrial design consultancy.
I am a keen learner and have a passion for creating designs that are innovative, user friendly and environmentally responsible. I am hardworking, loyal and willing to take on all tasks. I work well as an individual and have the ability to act on my own initiative. I also enjoy working in a team environment and engaging in multi-disciplinary collaboration. When it comes to product design, I feel that there is always room for improvement. I enjoy the challenge of making designs intuitive and efficient, whilst understanding the need to remain within budget. -

Bachelor (Honors) Industrial DesignUniversity of Western Sydney2007 - 2011I undertook 3 sub-majors prior to completing my final year. The details of the those sub-majors are as follows: -Industrial Graphics -Design Management -Sustainable Design My graduate design project, Kopper, was exhibited in SRDCHANGE 2011, a sustainable design exhibition produced by the Society for Responsible Design to showcase standout sustainable designs from all over Australia in all fields of design. I was pleased to receive the accolade for Best in Show at this annual event. My design was also shortlist in the Australian International Design Awards (student Category) and went on to represent Australia in the Global James Dyson Awards.

Product Design Support Technician/Junior Industrial DesignerSydney, AustraliaSep 2011 - Jul 2013 (1 year 10 months)-3D modelling and analysis of competitor and OEM products and components.
-Assist in the production of 3D product animations and renders for installation purposes and product packaging,
-Production of 2D drawings and graphics for cross-departmental purposes (QA, Manufacturing, marketing etc.)
-Liaise with Chinese manufacturers of investment cast components.
-Management of engineering drawings and other company documentation through vaulted digital archives.
