I've been involved in starting and building businesses since I was a sophomore in high school.
The first company launched was a clothing company in the outdoor industry. I have continued to be involved in that industry and I make it to the mountains as often as possible.
In 2001 I moved to Brazil for two years to serve a religious mission.
When I returned, I grew Mountain Mafia and began studying architecture at Weber State University (WSU).
In January of 2005 I created and managed the apparel division of AdPro Marketing.
In 2005 I married Heather Montgomery!
I left AdPro in December of 2007 to pursue other ventures. I left having grown AdPro's clientele nationwide as well as internationally, hired and trained many employees, and streamlined our processes.
Heather (my wife) graduated as a civil engineer from the University of Utah in December 2007.
In January 2008, I returned to WSU to pursue a business degree.
That spring, I partnered with Bluehouse Skis and created Bluehouse Apparel (the softgoods branch of the company). In July of that year I was approached by and became a partner of Sources Printwear, a screen printing and embroidery company.
In June 2009 I left Sources to start Corporate Movement.
That August, my wife had a baby girl!
In July of 2010 I became a partner of Bluehouse Skis and currently manage marketing, brand identity, and graphic design for the company.
Amity Paddleboards was launched February 2011. Also, early in 2011 the social media arm of Corporate Movement became a separate company, Driven Social.
Amity Paddleboards was sold in June, 2012.
I helped launch Voices for Virtue a few years ago. In 2012 I reorganized the non-profit and set us on a mission to reach 1 million voices to join our Facebook page. We are on course to reach that goal within a year.
For the 2013-2014 season 100% of Bluehouse Skis will now be made in the USA, an initiative we have been working towards for the past several years.
CorporateGroupBuy was launched in 2013.
