As an Industrial Design for Medtronic I am responsible for the form and human factors of medical devices used in the O.R. I also aid in 2d sketching that storyboards the use of our products in step by step directions that are packaged along with our products. Moreover, my abilities with Photoshop and illustrator have proven useful in marketing and team meetings, helping to explain future concepts and interaction in the human body. Typically, my job starts early in the design process where I will marry form and function to a well engineered internal assembly and make the user interaction comfortable, intuitive and simple, all while maintaining a form language consistent to the brand. I will have my part in color studies, design direction and many other creative outlets throughout the design process. From early concept sketching to fully thought out surface designs right into package rendering images, I am happy to say I have a part in all of it.
