Customer Services Assistant
Holton Heath, United Kingdom
Aug 2015 - Feb 2016 (6 months)
Working within the small international customer services team, I primarily dealt with UK customer sales, enquiries and complaints. This role demonstrated my high capacity for learning as I quickly had to familiarise myself with the entire product range and accounts software, Sage 50. I was responsible for keeping product specifications and prices updated across multiple online retail platforms. Working in a small organisation required flexibility as I also spent time working alongside the design intern, helping with new product designs and development, as Industrial Experience well as assisting with the dispatch of goods and the running of the onsite shop.

Freelance Engineer
Poole, United Kingdom
Sep 2014 - Jul 2015 (10 months)
As a result of my hard work during placement year I continued working at Matt Black Systems during my final year at Bournemouth University as a freelance designer and engineer. This demonstrates my ability to work as part of a team and successfully multitask as I worked on a part time basis, specialising in reverse engineering, panel design and PCB population.

Project Manager (Placement)
Poole, United Kingdom
Jul 2013 - Aug 2014 (1 year 1 month)
As a placement student I designed and manufactured man-machine interfaces for military and commercial hardware. I was responsible for providing clients with quotes, designing PCBs and panels, purchasing components and producing technical drawings. I was also responsible for the manufacture, assembly and testing of each panel. Excellent time management and organisation was crucial in order to meet the strict timeframes set by both internal and external clients. The companies unique structure also meant I had to manage my own cells accounts to ensure targets were met.
