Malang City established a competition on august, its main goal it to create a new image of its main square of the city which already being neglected. The main idea of the “MILLENIUM PARK” is to create a futuristic looking square to encourage the citizen to go the main square to interacts. This day, citizen tend to go to the mall to interact, so mall already becoming an unofficial main square for citizen. To bring back the original function of city main square, the design has to be open to everyone. The design also has to become the pride of the city, so the citizen will proud with their main square, in the end it will the reason to attract them to go here.
