Redesigned Bluemix Pricing Page - Spring 2015 PDF of the new pricing page I redesigned (with my team) when it was first launched and live to users on the Bluemix site this past spring (2015). There have been additions/minor edits to the page since it first went live, but the basic layout is still the same.

November 2014 User Interview Wireframes Four wireframes out of several iterations were chosen to be used in our user interviews. We let users look at the wireframes, had them tell us their thoughts on the wireframes, and then answer some questions (accompanying script uploaded separately.)

November 2014 User Interview Script This is the interview script used at Capital Factory. We interviewed several developers about their experience with cloud solutions and what they look for on pricing pages. We then presented them with wireframes and had them speak their thoughts aloud, and then answer questions regarding the wireframes.

Bluemix Pricing Page Design Oct - Nov 2014 This is the Bluemix pricing page just prior to the major redesign in early 2015. In Q4 of 2014, our scope was to only make small, incremental changes to the pricing page that you see in this hi-fi mock up created by my team's visual designer (based on my wireframes). The pricing page before this looked similar - but had sections and wording that were changed int his redesign.
Bluemix Pricing Page Redesign Wireframe - October 2014 These were the wireframes created and redlined, ready for hi-fis. The small changes were made to the former Bluemix pricing page in October 2014 - and was the last bit of small change before our major redesign of the pricing page in the spring of 2015.

IBM Bluemix - Pricing Page

While on the Bluemix Pricing (Discover, Try, Buy team) I was tasked with leading the UX design and research for a redesign of the Bluemix pricing page.
The biggest challenge on the original pricing page (barring the pricing model - which is still evolving) was that information was too difficult to find. People did not know that they could use our platform for free, and they did not have a way to estimate how much our platform would cost should they choose to use it. My main goal going into redesigning the page was to simplify it and make sure users understood that they can use the platform for free, while also giving them a way to estimate potential costs.
The pricing page on the Bluemix site currently (https://console.ng.bluemix.net/pricing/) has evolved slightly since my team and I worked with our engineers to implement this version in early 2015.
