The Dark Side Has 3D Touch!!! Forget cookies, the Dark Side has 3d Touch! While I do like both iPhones and Android phones... Apple has always been the Dark Side to me... This is a fun little ink sketch about the temptation I feel to get an iPhone 6s! Must... resist...
Umbreon, Sylveon and Espeon fun! Cute pencil sketch of three of Eevee's evolutions! (These are Pokemon)
Jaws - 500 A piece I created for a friend to celebrate 500 followers on his horror themed Instagram! Watch out for that shark!
iJobs - A Tribute to Steve Jobs - A creative piece I created as tribute to one of the greatest innovators of our time: Steve Jobs. I created this with traditional "Apple" flair by using their iconic silhouette styling and Myriad Apple font. I had never been an Apple fan girl, but I cannot deny the influence that Jobs and his company has had on our society. The original iPhone totally changed the mobile landscape and brought forth the advent of the touchscreen and mobile phone computing as we know it. Thank you Steve Jobs, for the design and innovation you brought to this world.
The Orange Peel Monster - The title says it all! This is a little "monster" I created out of my orange peel. I was at work and decided to take a little break for a bit of creative fun when I saw that my peel looked like an octopus. I took the pictures on my phone and then compiled this piece at home. Even though I may not have time to really exercise my creativity while at work, it does not stop inspiration from appearing. Some of my most humorous ideas have sprung about while I am at work.
Soft as Clouds, Light as Fluff - This is a cute, simple t-shirt idea I drew. The inspiration from this came from a joke my co-workers told. I had to jot the idea down on a post-it in the middle of the day to make sure I wouldn't forget. This was also a good opportunity for me to test out my Wacom tablet.
Girl with Green Eyes - My very first "official" project I started on my Wacom Tablet last Christmas (2010). I had never drawn or painted digitally prior to getting the tablet, but had wanted to expand my art in the digital realm. This took me almost a year to finish, since I had gone for months without working on it. It is important to me because it is my first digital painting and it signifies my readiness to tackle art in the digital world.
Experimental Boy - This is my first completed attempt at drawing and coloring an anime character on my Wacom tablet. The methods used to create this were different than painting my Girl with Green Eyes portrait. I would say this is harder for me at the moment because I am not as familiar with the process of using vectors and coloring in between lines. The stamps I used in the background are not my creation. I have credited the creator on my deviantART page (http://anunimaginarykid.deviantart.com/).
Manga Cover - This is a manga cover I created for a comics idea I had. The title (tentatively) was called 'Internet Boyz.' The basic premise I had for the comic was that it would revolve around a young woman who is working post-college at a job, but she wants to find/discover a career that she is passionate about. In the process of soul searching, she joins an online social networking ("dating") site and ends up befriending several young men. She doesn't think much of it, but finds herself the object of affection from several would-be suitors.
Sora of the Future (Featured in IGN: http://www.ign.com/articles/2009/07/28/kingdom-hearts-iii-the-ign-concept) - This is my concept art of what Sora (from the video game Kingdom Hearts) would look like if Kingdom Hearts III were to be released. The first two Kingdom Hearts games had Sora as a younger boy. I created Sora to look older (maybe with the age range of 18-19) because I expect a few years to have passed since the second game.
When an Office Meets the Spider - A fun flow chart I came up with one day at work. It was just a normal day until I heard my coworker shriek. I looked and saw that she had jumped out of her chair because a spider had crawled on her desk. Chaos ensued for a few minutes as she hopped and shrieked and tried to get rid of it. This funny scene inspired me to create a humorous flow chart depicting the possible outcomes a spider can face in the office environment.
Self-explanatory: Sketch of ... Nicole Kidman!
Sketch of two of my female characters from a long last fan-fiction based in the Star Wars Old Republic. I had started writing a fan-faction several years ago after play the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) game and had created and placed my own characters into that universe.
Cute chibi anime sketch made for my friend's birthday. I "animated" her and her bf, with the little kitty as an onlooker.
A sketch of my two male characters from my Star Wars Old Republic fan-faction based on the storyline and canon story of Star Wars. Lots of time went into the design of different lightsabres for each character. It was fun!
Steve Jobs Silhouette - Alternative Version This version wasn't my final version, and you can see that the silhouette is more translucent than in my other work. Here, I used some concept art of the new Cupertino headquarters as the background image, instead of the Apple Store in Shanghai, China.
Rush Flyer - This was a flyer I created using Photoshop for my organization's recruiting flyer. The theme for this was "Eternity" - with more than a subtle nod to the Calvin Klein perfume, which influenced me.
