Aileen Ng

Aileen is a fifth year student at Monash University completing her bachelor double degree in Engineering and Design. Over her time at Monash she has been involved in the Access Monash program and a number of student societies. In her fourth year she participated in the Monash Abroad program where she completed a semester in Ottawa, Canada.

Aileen has gained industry experience during her study, working at Mondelez International as a process engineer, obtaining valuable experience in the confectionary industry and learning about the process of developing projects. Aileen has also more recently gained experience in the renewable energy sector working for Acciona Energy, given a project focused on turbine operation where she has applied problem solving skills obtained from her degree.

Looking into the future Aileen hopes to work as an engineer specialising in product development where she aspires to combine her work with interests in sustainable, humanitarian and utilitarian design.
