The first few weeks of Fall 2014 Studio we were assigned to find problem areas around us. It was an individual assignment that we had to think of a week before the semester started. The field of design was wide open so people were able to express their ideas and influences into their design process. We were required to develop and submit a proposal one or a combination of the following issues: a user need that is not being met, an aspiration that is not currently possible, or designing a product/business that has not been taken.
