Over-Head VAC (Emerson Studio)
In this Spring design studio of 2015, we were sponsored by Emerson to design a vacuum cleaner inside a vehicle. Our design guidelines were based on what we found on our research and on the size of the motor Emerson presented to us. This was a new project for Emerson and they used us to test to see how it would go.
The project went through different phases meeting with an engineer from Emerson to help us figure out how to get the motor to fit in our designs. Emerson for the final phase chose the design direction for us to go based on our concept sketches.
