Adam Green is currently an Industrial Designer at The Home Depot in Atlanta, Georgia. In his current role he is designing product for Home Depot's private brands (ex. Hampton Bay, Defiant, Husky). The HD ID team is focused on building brand recognition and value while increasing private label penetration in the stores.
Previously he was a Design Engineer at Cooper Lighting in Peachtree City, Georgia. In that role he designed lighting fixtures for the retail / consumer products group. This position provided him the opportunity to design LED, halogen, and fluorescent light fixtures to be sold in large retailers including Lowes, Home Depot, and Sears. His career there began as a 7 month internship as an industrial designer and a mechanical engineer in one of the new product development groups.
Adam attended the Savannah College of Art and Design where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design. He also holds an Associates Degree in Physical Sciences from Andrew College. As a student athlete throughout his college education, Adam developed important skills for the workplace. He is a hard worker, passionate about design, and likes to go fast, sing Johnny Cash karaoke, and talk about endurance racing.
