- Creating CAD designs using Solidworks, followed by hand calculations and/or FEA to verify the design.
- Running a variety of projects from feasibility study through to final production ensuring compliance to customer specifications and/or regulatory standards (ISO 9001).
- Liaising with internal and external stake holders of projects to ensure designs are managed and understood.
- Job costing and basic resource management.
- Creating qualification and development test plans.
- Review and create methods to drive continuous improvement of engineering processes.
- Authoring and assisting with the generation of technical documents.
- Conceptual designs.
- Lead research and development projects, generating R&D tax credit documentation.
