Minesweeping Float
Using knowledge from proven designs, a float was designed to achieve the desired buoyancy. This was needed to meet the customers requirement for the latest equipment to be attached to the float.
Skills involved with this project:
- 3D modelling (Solidworks), sheet metal.
- Buoyancy calculations.
- Engineering drawings, suitable for fabrication.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all goals were being met.
