Chief Revit engineer for commercial ground-up projects for the firm. Work closely with the two principle Architects, coordinate construction documents, specifications, color boards & client renderings.

Managed projects over 160,000 square feet and produced construction documents for a multitude of commercial & residential projects. They include: multi-story office buildings, retail hubs, medical facilities, day care centers, veterinary clinics, kennels, restaurants & warehouses. Coordinating with other trades like civil, structural & MEP during the process is routine. Other responsibilities have included website development, design of promotional materials, managing company data protection, maintaining cad standards, archive management, reviewing & tracking submittals, cost estimating, software & hardware purchases and rendered presentations.

Established & operated a portable sawmill business focused on milling elements for construction per client specifications. Designed promotional materials, secured sales & maintained successful customer relationships.

Worked closely with architects to produce construction drawings,
renderings and promotional materials. Managed drawing & sample storage.

Began as cabinet builder and quickly transitioned into cad drafting, responsible for design of architectural woodwork & submittals to general contractors and architects. Generated cut lists and hardware schedules.

Designed, built and installed educational exhibits. Developed skills in metalworking, electronics, woodcraft & finishing techniques.

Established fixture & craft business designing & producing display cases, furniture, instruments and crafts. Actively worked with clients to design & visualize their products.

Under the guidance of master furniture craftsman Ron Puckett, constructed one-of-a-kind, contemporary furnishings of his designs. Ron’s furniture regularly uses architectural elements like columns & cornices, which inspired an appreciation of design fundamentals. Many of Ron’s pieces have been on display in galleries throughout the United States. Acquired technical skills in joinery, veneer, inlay and finishing techniques.
