Hermenegildo Mercado

The project features a tensile fabric structure that functions as a fine dining restaurant and bar. The design is like a blooming flower with the petals as roofing sloping toward the center where rainwater is collected. The columns arrayed in a circle define a dramatic central bar with a circular counter. At night the tensile fabric is lit by color changing LED lights. Tempered glass walls and canopies and pipe framing are integrated in form around the structure to complement the concept.
