My duties at the Media School of Technology were to instruct students on the elements of design in the yearbook class, assist digital arts instructors in the classrooms, and teach senior students on how to create a personal web site using the latest adobe digital software.

Airbrush action power portrait workshop in Las Vegas Airbrush instructors Javier Soto and Alan Pastrana taught techniques and approaches to rendering portraits with astonishing results. The class learned layout, composition, the use of computers, how to transfer your image to your target surface, use of stencils, color theory for accurate color mixing, painting techniques, how to achieve texture and detail using scratching and erasing techniques, airbrush control and maintenance, how to troubleshoot tip dry, blowouts, skipping and clogs, top pro tricks and special effects for multiple surfaces and much more.

Blue Hill Boys & Girls Club of Boston
Major responsibility is to oversee the planning, implementation and ongoing evaluation of quality and developmentally appropriate programs, activities, services, and special events in the clubs arts program areas for youth ages 6 - 18. Additional responsibilities include the oversight of program staff and department budget. Develop and implement collaborative programs and events with staff from other clubhouse departments as well as staff from other BGCB clubhouses and community organizations as appropriate. In conjunction with department staff, provide a variety of programming options reflective of the BGCB arts programs. The director will also run individual programs, activities, trips, etc. Individual responsibilities include, but not limited to, oversight of all arts programming including, but not limited to, visual, performing, culinary and literary arts.

art directors Main responsibilities: The Program Team Leader (PTL) will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of program team meetings, activities, programs, and special events, with support from the Director of Program Development as needed. Additional responsibilities include: * Serving as the subject matter expert and key point person for program area for BGCB staff, board members, and other key stakeholders. This can include, but is not limited to the following: * Providing information for BGCB newsletter * Providing program data to Development Team for fundraising purposes * Mentoring new team members. This can include, but is not limited to, the following: * Phone call to new staff during their first week on the job to welcome and provide overview of program area, and offer an in-person meeting. * Offering new team members to shadow PTL for a day. (Contingent upon approval of ED) * Assisting with the evaluation and implementation of new programs and partners. This can include: * reaching out to potential new program partners on behalf of program team to assess their fit within organization * Creating agendas, taking notes, and facilitating program team meetings. * Ensuring meeting reminders, agendas, and notes are disseminated to Executive Directors, Directors of Operations and Program Staff within one week of meeting. * Assisting with planning and implementation of team-related events. (i.e. end of year program team event). * Attending ALL program team meetings is required of Program Team Leader. * If you are sick and unable to attend meeting, it is the responsibility of the PTL to secure another team member to facilitate meeting and take notes.

First Night of Boston
3 Panel stain glass murals The three stained-glass panels in the art installation will illustrate teachers tutoring students, community policing, peace watch, cleaning up neighborhoods, painting over gang related graffiti and turning in guns and other weapon and taking them off the streets. This project and installation will be created in the hopes of encouraging, and motivating communities to join together in peace and harmony in means of saving valuable young people's lives. The Stained Glass mural project with illustrate acts of peace, unity and togetherness. In a time in our community where Boston's crime rate is skyrocketing and taking away the lives of our youth and dividing our communities, I will work with youth from the Boys and Girls Club of Boston where I am the art instructor and a youth counselor that encourages the use art as a vehicle to reach the community with a message of peace and hope. The majority of the families of the members that attend the Blue Hill Boys and Girls Club are low-income single-family home families. 80% are African American, 10% are Latino and 10% are other.

My duties at the Benjamin Banneker Charger School was to help the children that were in the after school program with homework assignments and projects. As an assistant, I also looked after the classroom and setup activities for the children.

Information Desk
Duties as the individual at the front desk were to inform visitors about new or current exhibits in the museum, the main attractions, and general information about the museum. I also gave out directions, maps and audiovisual guides.

Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
My job responsibilities were to guide young children around the museum and tell them the story behind some of the museums paintings and sculptures. I would engage the young students with humor to specify key topics about each piece of art that was viewed.
