3D printing
Designing a new product involves research, sketches, sketch models and concept development, which can all lead to
accurate 3D computer renderings. All of these steps were taken into consideration whilst designing a new hand-held, manually operated juicing tool. The final model was created in the Rhino program and printed 3D. This form of rapid prototyping allows the designer to explore the product’s form, testing the dimensions, ergonomics and even aesthetics.
