The Glass House, Edinburgh
A bespoke design for a couple who were interested in a modern aesthetic, the house makes use of a very restricted suburban site. The design allows for maximum solar gain on one side with views over a sheltered garden area. The other sides are sheltered from view whilst still allowing light to flood in through slit windows and rooflights. A spiral stair tower acts as a focus.
