Poster Mailer (Front) - After finished our SFMOMA redesign assignment, we were instructed to create a fold out Poster Mailer for "Chantel Akerman" upcoming show at SFMOMA.
For the Poster Mailer, I chose to use square cubes as a design emphasize, because it mimics the feel of the film stripe. I also used two complimentary colors as a background to match up with the artist’s style.
Dimension: 18"x24"

- Multi-fold. Closed with a single adhesive dot (color or transparent)
- Two sides: One side content and address area. Other side poster.
- 4 color process (CMYK)
- Must include SFMOMA redesign logo.

Concept/Content Map - Concept maps provide a useful contrast with essays. With a concept map, a viewer can see both the forest and individual trees. The big picture is clear because all the ideas are presented on one surface. At the same time, it is easy to see details and how they relate.

Experimental Typography - This project was to create a poster using experimental typography. I chose to use animal silhouette to form letters and make it into a poster. I got this concept based on my child memories where I used to play with animal figures and crackers to form object.
This project might look simple, but it was extremely difficult to places animal silhouette into the right position that did not deform each letter itself. This project was one of the most time consuming project.
