The Portal Project
"A Portal in 25 Steps" is a project done for the annual Dev9t Festival contest. This years theme was "Portal". This work was submitted in the 'comics' category.
The resulting work is a collaboration with 24 artists. Each participator was provided with a different photograph from Edward Muybridge, representing a still of a running man. They were free to interpret the photo in any way they want, the only limitations being the formatt size and the colours: black, red and white.
All images combined, we get a sequence of a man running, with each frame representing a personal portal of a different artist.
The result was then printed in linocut.
