The French Institute in Belgrade Windows Catalogue
The French Institute in Belgrade does a great workshop every year: they redecorete their windows in the centre of the city in order to match the Christmas spirit. This years' windows included actual plants that were growing freely in order to bring attention to nature and ecology.
I was a part of a collaborated project of designing the years' catalogue. Since the whole concept was revolving around nature and growth, we wanted for the catalogue to reflect this idea. Each of the four windows was representing one slavic god and one season, so the catalogue itself had four parts.
In the middle there was a thin piece of organic paper which could, when soaked in water, provide fertile soil for growing various plants. The opening invitation was actually a bag of seeds, so all visitors could grow a plant themseves.
