What you see here are all of the major sketches, computer renderings/construction, as well as the final 3D printed model for my capstone project. All renderings and computer aided designs were created via Solidworks. The Reflexstic, as I have dubbed this device, aids in the prevention and rehabilitation of tendonitis and hyperextension. It promotes the range of motion of the upper body and acts as the catalyst for strengthening routines. My initial goal was to give back to the drumming community, being a drummer myself. The first few sketches explore that idea, but as I continued sharing them with other people, I noticed that the market was much larger than I had originally expected. The target market includes, but is not limited to: tennis players, golfers, swimmer, individuals post surgery, persons requiring rehab, rock climbers, drummers, factory workers, athletes... the list goes on and on.
