Architectural Heritage Museum at The Baron Palace
The Projects aim was adaptive reuse. I chose a landmark like no other in Egypt with great value; The Baron Empain Palace. I decided that the best function for it would be a museum because after the earthquake in 1992 it took 3 years to restore the palace so i wanted people to visit but for there to not be too much traffic, also because the palace is in a residential neighborhood. It is a museum of Architectural Heritage Museum of Egypt. It was built underground to respect the visual continuity from all angles and has many courts for natural light and ventilation.
