Sapera UniProject
For a second year university project we were tasked to solve the problem of personal transport in a future where everyone lives in a mega-city and there is no longer room, or fuels for conventional cars. Working with my classmate Hetang Zaveri, we went about thinking of ways to reduce the space cars take up, eventually settling on a small gyroscopic shell controlled via a laptop or phone being plugged into it. Six of these new vehicles fit into one conventional parking space and ran on electricity, charging while the user was at work. when on the road, the vehicle could join to buses and turn off it's engine completely, creating a kind of road train and saving energy.
