Wreckers Ball Ad - This ad appeared in Baltimore STYLE Magazine. It was to promote a fundraising event which benefits the Second Chance architectural antiques and salvages' job training work force and development program.
I could have obviously made a black circle to symbolize the wrecking ball but I chose orange for two reasons: (1) Black was just too predictable; it can still be a wrecking ball with being black (2) Black would have completely overpowered the whole ad.
I chose the "City Bold" font because it was very masculine and is in harmony with this line of work. Just for a visual pun, I added the the broken party glass. I also put little thumbnails of the group's work so that there would be less confusion about what this non-profit organization does.
