Embroideried Object
Embroideried Chair_Oriental Design - This project is about elements’ application of Oriental culture, for finding out an alternative way of design that represents our culture. I choose a traditional Chinese artistry, embroidery, as my design element. The embroidery is not only a kind of artistry, but also an old craftsmanship. I use this skill on modern materials such as acrylic and sew several old-fashion patterns on it. In the end, the acrylic could be used on products such as chair, table, lamp, etc.
