Smarter Stuff - This campaign for sustainable, efficient, green product design seeks to break away from the de facto strategy of guilt-tripping consumers into environmental stewardship. With the idea that people shouldn’t have to change their lifestyle, they should want to, these posters attempt to showcase the cooler, trendier, more technologically exciting side of eco-friendly product options. Since new technologies in the green arena are surfacing at an increasing rate, a dynamic complement to the static posters is provided in the form of a website, smarterstuff.org. In addition to having static components mirroring the posters and including PDF downloads of the posters, the website also updates itself via live feeds from two green design news blogs, Worldchanging and Inhabitat.
