Over time, sink traps and pipes are always clogged with hair, which prevents water from being discharged freely. This causes constant cleaning, which is tedious and gross. C&C takes a fresh approach to the drainer, reconfiguring it to a better device, which is actually clogging-proof. The mechanism makes use of two ring-shape ruI tried various ways to tackle the problem, while considering the sizes and assemblage of different components, as well as the usability of the design.
bber frames – one being inverted at the place of the vertices of the drainer, and the other mounted at the bottom in between where lies coarse nylon tread lets. When the top frame rotates so it can be bolted, the tread forms a conical filter, which traps hair in the middle while water goes through unaffected. The filter is replaceable and individual parts can be cleaned.
