Wood + Light
Every year, our school, Dalian University of Technology, has an exhibition related to wood designed by Industrial Design Department. This year, 2014, the theme is “ WOOD+LIGHT”.
After brain storming, I would like to pursue this topic in a rustic way rather than using 3D printing or some modern material. Wood and light are originally from nature, so why not follow the rules of mother nature? Maybe my wooden light can bring the environment something alive, and give the space some green.
From the aspect of nature, this theme in my eyes is meant to be eco - friendly, so I decided to enhance this topic.
