Angel island Sanctuary
This project capitalizes on the potential of a heritage site and its rich natural context to come up with a design for
human reflection, solace, and rejuvenation. Grounded in the rich environmental, cultural, and spatial contexts of
the appropriated site, this project aims at an open, public use of hybrid indoor and outdoor spaces responsive to
the immigration history in the American experience.
