As one of the world’s premier cultural institutions, many look to the Metropolitan Opera as a standard-setting icon with the ability to bring opera to life for 21st century audiences.

The main goal was to reconnect and reenergize loyal viewers while also appealing to new audiences through this campaign that will connect with viewers across all media touchpoints.

This creative concept exposes the story and experience of opera in new and unexpected ways. By implementing cinematic and dramatic imagery, paired with accessible yet surprising quotes through impactful typography, the campaign’s intention is to connect the audience directly to the story with a fresh perspective and a relatable voice.
