TODAY - This course challenge was to tell any story visually. I decided to tell a story on particular day from waking up in the morning to the time I went to sleep. During the picture taking, I personally captured a feeling that the day seems so long, but before I knew, it was gone. This feeling similarly applied at time when running out on everyday items, such as soaps, toilet paper, milk and so on. Thus I chose to capture the story on roll of paper.
Helvetica - The course challenge is to choose a typeface and to create a 3-D environmental design. I chose to do Helvetica for its amazing design history. By knowing that Helvetica is a Latin word for Switzerland, I came up with the idea of making a Swiss Flag with letter Helvetica spelled-out. The piece would represent an event for Swiss design then will be hanged at the center of a glass window hall up front of a museum so that it would be visible to outside walking public.
