Manual Reaching Lightbulb Changer - In the end, this gripper and locking interface was very function driven and engineered, CADed and tested by myself. The locking collar is composed of 2 pieces (AB tooled) that one-way snap together. When the orange collar is rotated 90 degrees, it captures the elliptical base of the various attachments. Traveled to China for quality control. The production standard bulb gripper material is PVC. My prototypes were RTV urethane and cast in ABS FDM rapid prototype molds. at Home Depot
