For this project we were supposed to create a new version of an existing website. We decided which website and which pages of that website we were going to do in small groups. In these groups we worked together to layout the entire site architecture of the existing website to see what needed to be improved. After deciding what needed to be changed, we parted ways and created our own, original designs for this website. There are three levels of the website that I designed including the hope page, a page where you can purchase a snowboard, and the shopping cart page. We decided to redesign the Burton webpage. Burton is a snowboarding and snow gear company that is big on adventure, so I wanted to improve their existing site, which didn't get that point across. I used some of Burton's own images to alter their site to a site that is more focused on the aspect of adventure, rather than being retro and rustic.
