This respirator mask is developed to operate in highly polluted urban environments with cycling couriers as the primary user. Their daily physical exertion in heavy traffic makes them extra vulnerable for the negative health effects of pollution.
This respirator mask uses a replaceable electrostatic charged cartridge filter and two big one way valves that drain the exhaled air out fast and efficient. Both the filter and valves contribute to riding comfort and minimize performance loss.
The mask is fixed on the helmet straps, allowing the cyclist to look back without any impediment at the back of his neck. It can also be temporarily moved aside from the face by detaching only one end. Enabling the cyclist to blow his nose or answer his delivery calls whilst riding.
The neoprene piece is available in both a winter and summer model. So the mask can always be configured to match the outdoor conditions.
