Ottawa International Airport - Pre-Board Screening Renovation

A $15.5M renovation of one sector of the Passenger Terminal Building in order to relocate the pre-board screening services to Level 3 and install new, state-of-the-art screening equipment.
The scope of work included the addition of a new floor extension at Level 3, new elevators and escalators, and new washrooms.
Challenges of the project were to complete the work in phases without disrupting passenger travel, consideration of security requirements, and to seamlessly integrate the new areas with the aesthetics of the existing building.
