I started using the Letterpress when I was still going to Art Center in California. I’ve bought and sold quite a few presses since my time at Art Center. I managed to keep three of my favorite little presses.
I started a little side project called The Hayfork Press. I decided to create a logo that would represent my love for icons. I didn’t want to do just a press or a wheel or something you see every day. I wanted to do something that would look great on a printing press and also work on the web, silkscreen, and embroidery.
