Alex Moulton was an exceptional engineer and inventor. His most famous work being the classic mini's suspension cone to go with its small wheel size. After its incredible success, Moulton moved onto pioneer a small wheeled bicycle revolution. These bicycles are now considered as iconic and still display the classic suspension and 17"/20" wheels as they did 50 years ago.
After being a huge success and a fashion must have in the 60s, Moulton started to focus on the bicycle was the lightest and fastest of the Moulton bicycles and was record breakingly fast.
Isn't it ironic that a bicycle with such small wheels could be so fast.
After receiving a lecture from the new head designer of Moulton, he gave us a new brief where we were challenged with the task of designing our own ironic bicycle.
