Worth 1000 Entry: Child's First Hearse - In this very time consuming entry for Worth 1000 the rules were to create a toy that is the result of a bad, bad, bad idea. One they would never allow in a toy store. Using the above yellow real toy as a starting point, I created the entire hearse by hand in Photoshop.
Worth 1000 Entry: PepsiCoke - In this enty for Worth 1000 the rules were to show how someone would like to take revenge on their ex-company, boss or co-workers. In this instance I took the coke designed bottles and using a stylized Pepsi to look like the Coke logo created new labels and retouched the photo to add them in. Very complex and the image makes it look much easier than it was. The lighting and shadows were crucial.
Worth 1000 Entry: Flying Wagon - This Worth 1000 Content had rules that stated to add wings (any type of wing is ok) to items that don't already have them, except animals and people. I thought using a futuristic past by taking an original radio flyer wagon and removing the wheels and contact with the ground and making it hover with wings would be a great idea. I liked the retro look too with the black and white.
Worth 1000 Entry: Queen of Hearts - In this Worth 1000 contest the goal was to show something that has been broken and fixed in a completely unusual/obvious/silly way. Using some of the sources shown below the finished piece, I decided to create a scene of a royal flush where the queen card was "broken" and replaced with a picture of the actual queen.
Worth 1000 Entry: PicassoGogh - In this Worth 1000 contest the goal was to take parts of two or more paintings by different artists and put them together to create one new masterpiece! In this case I used Vincent Van Gogh's famous self portrait and a cubist example of Picasso's work and re-created Van Gogh's self portrait as a cubist work of art. Lot of time, lot of layers!
