Mini Bakery - CAD

The project is a result of the 'Mini Bakery – Physical' project, aimed to represent the physical model pieces as more accurate digital pieces. The main challenge in this project was not replicating the accuracy in size as with the physical project, but creating the models to have a more organic form rather than geometric.

This project advanced my skills with CAD modeling from basic extrusions, revolutions, and cuts. I learned how to use different tools that would help create more organic forms, such as the ‘Swept’, ‘Lofted’, ‘Boundary’, and ‘Free Form’ tools found in SolidWorks. I also learned how to import unique textures and appearance patterns for more aesthetically appealing models.

The project is a work in progress, where each model is made when a physical piece is completed. As with the physical project, some models were made by request of friends and family and we’re subjected to their desires and standards.
