Casa LE
This is a house for a couple and four children. The lower part of the house is the kid's rooms with courtyards between. In the upper part are the couple´s room, garage and office. The couple asked for this separation so they could have more privacy. In the middle are social and service areas.
Because it is a land with very rugged topography, the implantation is in stages to avoid retaining walls. The difference in levels make it possible to use the roof of kid´s rooms for outdoor recreational areas, avoiding more retaining walls. The courtyards between rooms provide also shade areas.
The use of the roof as recreational area in this project is an attempt to minimize earthwork costs.
